Senior Information Management Advisor - Wellington (Preferred), Auckland and/or Christchurch\n

Location: Wellington (preferred), also Auckland or Christchurch.

Fixed term/secondment until June 2027.

\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Design and maintain M365 (SharePoint) and/or Objective, ensuring lifecycle management is built in.
  • \n
  • Provide pragmatic advice in complex information landscapes.
  • \n
  • Offer technical expertise and by‑design advice to embed good information practices into solution design.
  • \n
  • Conduct information management risk assessment and assurance on complex solutions.
  • \n
  • Manage migration of Objective to M365 (ShareSharePoint).
  • \n
  • Interpret Disposal Authorities into SharePoint retention policies, either natively or via third‑party tooling.
  • \n
  • Influence the implementation of fit‑for‑purpose business solutions through strong relationship management.
  • \n
  • Apply pragmatic information management solutions to complex issues.
  • \n
  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility in applying technical expertise.
  • \n
\nQualifications\n
    \n
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Management.
  • \n
  • Excellent understanding of relevant statutes, rules and regulations, including compliance obligations under the Public Records Act 2005.
  • \n
  • Capability to develop, maintain and implement Information policies, standards, frameworks, guidance, training and processes.
  • \n
  • Experience in providing technical expertise and risk assessment in complex solutions.
  • \n
  • Strong relationship management skills to influence business solutions.
  • \n
  • Capable of interpreting Disposal Authorities into retention policies.
  • \n
  • Experience with migration projects involving M365/SharePoint.
