Senior Technical Project Manager

Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering? Our client is a market-leading project delivery business with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and workplace projects. Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, they are looking to appoint a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their Auckland team. This role will see you providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring building services are coordinated, compliant, buildable and delivered to the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal delivery teams to drive successful project outcomes.

• Lead the technical delivery of commercial fit-out and workplace projects.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Review Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection and Building Services designs.
• Manage technical risks, compliance requirements and buildability reviews.
• Support procurement, commissioning, testing and handover activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, quality and budget expectations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to both clients and project teams.

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience delivering technical services within commercial construction, fit-out or design-and-build environments.
• Strong understanding of building services systems and technical coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
