Cardiology Registrar 2026 (Fixed Term)

Cardiology Registrar – Full time, fixed term until 31 January 2027. Six‑ or twelve‑month placement for the 2026/2027 year.

The cardiology department at Waikato Hospital admits approximately 6,000 patients a year and performs 3,000‑4,000 angiograms, 1,000 angioplasties and over 400 electrophysiological procedures. There are nine cardiologists and a similar number of SMOs working in four cath labs across all cardiac subspecialties.

• PGY2 or PGY3 equivalent, or completion of equivalent training.
• Experience in Cardiology is a bonus but not required.
• Eligible to work in NewZealand.
