Location: Auckland, New Zealand Contract Type: Full-time Permanent Contract About The Role As DB Breweries' Digital Products Consultant, you will lead and own end-to-end architecture and solutions for Digital Core and platform products, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices. You’ll design intuitive information architectures, develop high-level models, and translate business needs into scalable, user-centric solutions. This role will suit someone who is highly outcomes-focused and brings experience across consulting, business analysis, project management, and product management. No two days will be the same. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll leverage expertise in microservices, ERP, and e-commerce to optimise platform functionality and usability. Through cross-functional collaboration, you’ll influence stakeholders, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvements, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing across teams. What you’ll be doing Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, leadership, and engineers, to elicit, document, and communicate platform and application requirements. Ensure solutions are user-centric and aligned with business objectives. Develop and define scalable architectures based on functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure technical designs balance business goals, performance, security, and maintainability while adhering to global architectural standards. Partner with product management, engineers, and enterprise architects to align digital solutions with the overall technical roadmap. Collaborate with Data and Enterprise Architects to ensure consistency and integration across platforms. Oversee end-to-end execution of digital initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Work with regional and APAC HUB teams to ensure seamless delivery of critical artifacts, including wireframes, workflow diagrams, interactive mock‑ups, and prototypes. Conduct local usability testing under Regional HUB governance to validate solutions against user experience expectations. Ensure delivered systems meet business needs and drive continuous improvements to optimise functionality and performance. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Continuously assess and enhance existing architectures to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Your background and experience Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong background in microservices, ERP, and e-commerce. Ability to develop intuitive architectures, create high-level models, and translate business goals into scalable, user-centric solutions. Proven ability to work in Agile environments, leveraging SCRUM methodologies and relevant tools for efficient product development. trong analytical skills to solve complex problems, collaborate across teams, and drive business‑aligned technology solutions. Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to different teams, and develop innovative capabilities in a fast‑changing environment. Strong understanding of business operations and strategy, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive impactful product decisions. Experience implementing financial planning systems and/or financial or ERP systems would be a strong advantage.
