The Role | Mo te Turanga
We're looking for two enthusiastic and reliable Laundry Workers & Housekeepers. Housekeeping is a vital part of our overall team and this role plays a key part in maintaining a warm, hygienic and comfortable environment for our residents.

What You'll Do | Ou Haepapa

  • Laundry Operations: Efficiently wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and linens, ensuring all items are cleaned to high standards.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleaning and laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Attention to Detail: Identify areas needing extra care, such as stains or clutter, and ensure all tasks meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Resident Interaction: Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring | Ou Pukenga

  • Pervious experience is an advantage but not essential
  • NZ Permanent resident/Citizen - Essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of a high standard of cleanliness and personal presentation
  • Empathy for aged care residents and broad knowledge of the aged care sector
  • Good communication and time management

Important Details

  • Position 1-Mon, Tues, Weds and Thurs (incl PH) 7am to 3.30pm. 32 hours per week
  • Position 2- Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat (incl PH) 8am to 1.30pm. 20 hours per week
  • Interviews : Friday 31st July 2026
  • Applicants must be a NZ permanent resident
