About the Role | Mo te tungaThe Youth Housing Administrator provides efficient, proactive administrative support to the Service Leader and Team Leaders within the Youth Housing team. This role is integral to the team's success, helping to create and sustain a productive, well-organised, and supportive working environment by ensuring administrative and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
The successful candidate will bring strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to supporting positive social outcomes for young people.
- Administration and office operations

- Vehicle fleet management
- Safety, quality, and compliance administration
- Event planning and coordination
- Supporting the organisation's bicultural journey
- Health and safety administration and reporting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence identifying opportunities to improve systems and administrative processes
- A people-centred approach, treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and empathy
- A commitment to working alongside Maori, Pasifika, and diverse communities in a culturally responsive way
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build positive working relationships

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven administration experience, including document management, scheduling, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working within housing, social services, community services, or a related sector is advantageous
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment
