People and Culture Coordinator (Fixed Term, Part-time)
We're looking for an established People and Culture Coordinator to join our busy and collaborative team, working with two other Coordinators and two Advisors to foster an inclusive work and volunteer environment. Our People and Culture team embraces a dual-world view in our approach, delivering people programmes, and supporting the MOTAT Team to be successful in their roles.
Reporting to the Head of People, Culture, and Wellbeing, this role provides a high level of support and assistance to the People and Culture team and the wider team, ensuring the accurate preparation and efficient coordination of a broad range of HR and DEI-related activities and processes. Coordination of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, engagement surveys, team events, through to straight forward employment relations will be a fundamental part of this role.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- At least 3 years broad HR coordination experience across the full employment life cycle. If you happen to have an analytical mind, even better!
- Bring a demonstrated understanding of HR policies, practices, employment legislation, coupled with the ability to bring the team along on a change journey.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skill with the ability to prioritise many competing tasks.
- Be a team player, keen to get stuck into the mahi to support our people to be amazing in their roles.
- Be a strong communicator and advocate for our people-centred approaches to building a highly productive and engaged mahi team.
- Be a systems wizz with experience using HRIS and payroll systems. We'll need to be able to rely on you to keep our systems and processes in order around the tari!
A Human Resources degree (or similar) would be beneficial, but not required.
This is a 12-month, fixed term, part-time role, Monday to Thursday, 6 hrs per day.
