KingsWay School Teacher - Years 7-13 with strengths in Mathematics (2027 start)

Due to roll growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time KingsWay School Teacher (Years 7-13) with strengths in Mathematics based primarily in our Senior School starting 28 January 2027.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.
About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Effectively engaging with and teaching Mathematics to students in Years 10-13
- Contributing to the departments academic process and achievement
- Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff
The successful applicant will:
- Connect well with, and thrive on imparting their knowledge to Year 10-13 students
- Have experience with the NCEA Mathematics curriculum
- Ability to teach calculus or statistics through to Year 13 advantageous
- Enjoy effectively partnering with parents
- Enjoy working collaboratively
- Have a desire to grow their professional capacity
An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students' faith, and will protect and enhance our Christian character.
