Sudima Auckland City is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. If you take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces and enjoy working in a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Room Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional stay by maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
This is a part-time role (minimum hours per week is 10 hours) paying $26.50 per hour and needs 7 day roster availability.
Responsibilities | Nga haepapa
- Clean and service guest rooms to the highest standard.
- Replenish room amenities, linen, and guest supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned public areas when required.
- Report maintenance issues, lost property, and room defects.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet daily room targets while maintaining quality.
- Deliver friendly and professional service when interacting with guests.
This is a rostered position, including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements

You'll be someone who:
- Physically capable of safely performing the inherent requirements of the role, including regular manual handling tasks such as lifting linen, pushing housekeeping trolleys, and repetitive bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift.
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is reliable, motivated, and has a positive attitude.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and manage your time effectively.
- Has previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential as full training is provided but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are key.).
- To be considered for this role, you must legally be entitled to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a police and reference check.
