# Senior Information Management Advisor - Wellington (Preferred), Auckland and/or Christchurch at Ministry of Social Development, Canterbury## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**About our team | Mō te tīma*** Fixed term/secondment opportunities until June 2027* Wellington is the preferred location but will consider Auckland or Christchurch for the right candidateAs part of MSD's Organisational Assurance and Communications Group, the Information Privacy and Security (IPS) Group offer support and advice across Information Management, Security and Privacy domains.What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatangaYou will join as a Senior Information Management Advisor to support the team, during a time of change. You will bring your extensive knowledge in Information Management to ensure good information practices are applied to business services and solution design. You will work collaboratively with other team members and the wider business to deliver the Group's functional activities.We are looking for several people and welcome applicants who have experience across multiple areas below: Design and maintenance of M365 (SharePoint) and/or Objective with a focus on ensuring lifecycle management is built in Experience in providing pragmatic advice in complex information landscapes Providing technical expertise and by design advice to build good information practices into solution design Demonstrated experience of providing information management risk assessment and assurance on complex solutions Experience in migration of Objective to M365 (SharePoint) Excellent understanding of relevant statutes, rules, and regulations, including compliance obligations under the Public Records Act 2005 Capability to develop, maintain, and implement Information policies, standards, frameworks, guidance, training, and processes Ability to interpret Disposal Authorities into SharePoint retention policies either natively or via 3rd party tooling Strong relationship management skills to influence the implementation of fit-for-purpose business solutions Ability to apply pragmatic information management solutions to complex issues* Experienced and confident in applying technical expertise in a flexible, agile way**What's in it for you?*** Supportive leadership Enjoy a mix of strategic and tactical work Working collaboratively with experts across the information domains to achieve good outcomes* Flexible working arrangements**Core values*** Manaaki – We care about the wellbeing and success of people Mahi tahi – We work together, making a difference for communities Whanau – We are inclusive and build a sense of belonging and place* Tika me te pono – We do the right thing with integrityJoin them today and be part of a team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
