Principal BPM Architect
Tenzing is one of the leading BPM providers in the region, working with some of the most well-known clients in Insurance, Banking, Public Sector and Commercial Services in our region. To further enable this growth, we are looking for an experienced BPM Architect assist with our Business Process Management (BPM) practice. Our BPM team works very closely with our Guidewire, Information and Document Management, Data Management and Consulting Services teams often involving them as part of our BPM services.
We are seeking someone with deep technical expertise across a range of BPM platforms, and strong technical leadership and influence. We want someone who can help ask the right questions of our business clients and using your deep technical BPM capabilities design and build innovative solutions that you can credibly discuss with our clients.
This role is ideal for someone with outstanding architectural capability, proven delivery leadership, and the confidence to shape a practice that is growing rapidly in both scale and strategic importance.
What you will do:
- Deliver senior technical architecture expertise for complex BPM initiatives, establishing architecture patterns, technical standards, and delivery best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support capability uplift across project teams and promote adoption of best-practice architecture approaches.
- Architect and oversee enterprisescale BPM solutions (primarily on Appian), ensuring quality design, reusable patterns, and alignment with Agile delivery.
- Define secure, scalable integration architectures across ERP, CRM, data, APIs, and microservices while translating complex processes into streamlined automation.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies in Business Orchestration, Technology (BOAT), AI, and automation, identifying opportunities to enhance solution outcomes.
- Contribute to pre-sales and solution shaping activities by providing technical architecture expertise, defining solution approaches, and supporting BPM portfolio growth.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to guide discovery, solution design, technical strategy, and represent the BPM practice across governance and client forums.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 10+ years' experience in BPM architecture and enterprisescale solution delivery, with a proven track record across complex transformation environments.
- Deep, handson Appian expertise and other BPM platforms - this is essential and forms the core of your technical leadership.
- Strong experience defining technical architecture and providing architectural oversight for large and complex BPM implementations.
- Broad technical knowledge across modern engineering practices, including integration architecture, API design, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and BPMN process modelling.
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, data platforms, and third-party applications.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
- Clear and confident communication skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and calm, credible leadership, particularly in highpressure or fastmoving delivery environments.
- A solid grounding in Agile delivery, ensuring alignment between architecture, iterative delivery, and engineering best practice.
