We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and improve the company's daily operations, staff performance, customer service delivery, and business systems.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Oversee and coordinate day‑to‑day company operations across multiple service locations.
  • \n
  • Develop operational procedures, systems and workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • \n
  • Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to company standards.
  • \n
  • Recruit, train, supervise and mentor staff.
  • \n
  • Develop staff rosters and workforce allocation plans.
  • \n
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage employee development.
  • \n
  • Manage and optimise CRM platforms, including ServiceM8 or similar systems.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting systems and performance dashboards.
  • \n
  • Implement automation, AI‑assisted workflows and digital business solutions.
  • \n
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, internal documentation and training resources.
  • \n
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • \n
  • Prepare quotations, service proposals and operational reports.
  • \n
  • Support business development activities and contract management.
  • \n
  • Monitor service quality and resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • \n
  • Coordinate digital marketing activities and marketing automation systems.
  • \n
  • Assist with content development, business communications and proposal writing.
  • \n
  • Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and company policies.
  • \n
  • Conduct occasional site audits and operational reviews.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate operational and compliance records.
  • \n
Requirements and Skills\n
    \n
  • A Bachelor's qualification or higher, or at least 3 years of relevant management or operations experience (preferably both).
  • \n
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Experience managing staff and operational workflows.
  • \n
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably ServiceM8.
  • \n
  • Strong written communication and report writing skills.
  • \n
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and cloud‑based business software.
  • \n
  • Ability to analyse business performance data and implement improvements.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of digital systems, workflow automation and AI‑enabled business tools is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • Willingness to travel to other operational regions such as Tauranga and Hamilton.
  • \n
  • Applicants must have New Zealand work rights or be eligible to be considered for the position.
