12 Month Contract Legal Executive - Generalist

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Legal Executive to join a well-established and highly respected law firm on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract, commencing around November.

This role has arisen due to two valued team members commencing maternity leave simultaneously, creating an opportunity for a capable and adaptable Legal Executive to provide support across residential conveyancing and private client/general practice matters.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team where no two days are the same. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, can confidently manage their own files, and is comfortable working with minimal supervision.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• Significant experience as a Legal Executive within New Zealand.
\n
• Strong residential conveyancing experience, with exposure to private client and general practice matters.
\n
• The ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
\n
• Excellent communication, organisation, and client relationship skills.
\n
• A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to quickly integrate into an established team.
\n
