Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Export Operator to manage export shipments, coordinate with customers and international partners, and deliver exceptional service across the supply chain. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving capability, and share our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate document releases and amendments when necessary.

Ensure all shipment documentation is saved and maintained within Flow.

Ensure shipments comply with New Zealand export regulations and destination-country requirements.

Arrange bookings for FCL, LCL, consolidation, and airfreight shipments.

Liaise with NZ Customs, MPI, Chambers of Commerce, and other relevant authorities where applicable.

Maintain awareness of regulatory changes affecting exports.

Escalate any compliance concerns to management promptly.

Arrange transport collections from customers, wineries, warehouses, and suppliers.

Coordinate warehouse receivals, container packing, and cargo handling requirements.

Liaise with pack houses, depots, and transport providers to ensure cargo readiness and timely shipment.

Maintain full financial responsibility for assigned shipment files.

What do we expect from you?

Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and export operations.

Sea freight and airfreight experience.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Knowledge of Cargowise/Flow systems preferred.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Commercial awareness and financial file management experience.

Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
