We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our kaupapa Māori health practice in Whanganui, providing whānau-centred, culturally grounded primary care that makes a real difference.
About Us\nOur practice is kaupapa Māori-led and embedded in the community we serve. We take a holistic, whānau-first approach, addressing not only physical health, but also social, emotional and wairua wellbeing. You’ll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team who are deeply committed to equity, manaakitanga, and improving hauora outcomes for Māori and the wider community.

The Role\n- \n
- Provide high-quality, compassionate primary care to individuals and whānau \n
- Work within a kaupapa Māori model of care \n
- Collaborate with nurses, kaiāwhina, and allied health professionals \n
- Engage in community-driven, preventative, and equity-focused health initiatives \n
- Flexible FTE options available (full-time or part-time) \n

- Vocationally registered GP (or working toward Vocational Registration) \n
- Committed to culturally safe, whānau-centred care \n
- Alignment with kaupapa Māori values (you do not need to be Māori) \n
- Willingness to learn and work in a te ao Māori environment \n
- Team-focused, reflective, and community-minded \n
