Responsible for delivering best cost price outcomes across a portfolio of Own Brand products
Supporting category strategies and driving long-term value for co-operatives and customers
Leading supplier negotiations, tenders, and sourcing initiatives
Working closely with Category Product Managers, Product Developers, and suppliers
Optimising cost, quality, innovation, and supply outcomes
Maintaining a deep understanding of category cost drivers, commodity movements, supplier capability, and market trends
Identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and create competitive advantage.

Requirements\n

Experience in a procurement, sourcing, buying, or commercial role, ideally within FMCG, food, or retail.
Strong understanding of cost models, manufacturing processes, and the drivers impacting cost of goods.
Proven experience leading supplier negotiations, sourcing initiatives, and supplier relationship management.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial data and make informed decisions.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Advanced stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style.
Resilience, initiative, and a passion for continuous improvement.
