- Providing legal support across Foodstuffs and establishing strong effective relationships. \n
- Manage stakeholders across the co operative and working with and managing external lawyers. \n
- Advising Foodstuffs’ property team and instructing external lawyers on leasing documentation and other property agreements for our $2 billion + property portfolio. \n
- Advising on high profile marketing campaigns (e.g. New World), intellectual property and privacy matters. \n
- Supporting on mergers and acquisitions. \n
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on key strategic commercial and supply contracts. \n
- Company secretarial and corporate governance work. \n
- Supporting the business on compliance with regulatory matters, including advising on the new Grocery Industry Competition Act. \n
- Foodstuffs crisis management and litigation dispute management. \n
- Supporting the Legal team on legal innovation and efficiencies. \n

- A tertiary qualification in Law with at least 2 years’ PQE \n
- Training from a reputable law firm. \n
- Ability to perform under pressure. \n
- A flexible and open attitude. \n
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn and contribute. \n
- Being a team player with aspirations to develop your leadership. \n
- Previous in-house legal experience (e.g. secondment experience) would be an advantage, but not a necessity for success in the role. \n
