Opportunity\nAre you an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist? We have exciting opportunities across a range of ophthalmic subspecialties, including the following:

- Medical Retina \n
- Cornea \n
- Uveitis \n
- Glaucoma \n
- Neuro-Ophthalmology \n
You can specify your preferred speciality when submitting your application. We’re recruiting for both permanent part‑time and full‑time vacancies.
\nYou will be employed by Te Toka Tumai, and you will be responsible to provide services at various sites across Auckland. You will provide specialist ophthalmic services to the diverse population of the Auckland region. Working alongside a large team of part‑time and full‑time Consultants providing tertiary sub‑specialist provision in all areas of Ophthalmology, you will enjoy working in a collaborative and cohesive team.
\nYou will also have the opportunity to engage in teaching as Te Toka Tumai, Auckland is a major teaching and research centre, with strong links with the University of Auckland.

About you\nYou will be registered or be eligible for Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, and have undertaken postgraduate training in Ophthalmology, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologist (or equivalent).
