Korero mo te turanga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington and Te Puna Hauora - School of Health is seeking registered nurses to work as Clinical Tutors supporting our Master of Nursing Practice programme on a casual basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Clinical Learning Environment (CLE) support for students including completing clinical learning assessments and communication with the relevant course co-ordinator.
- Providing simulation support for designated courses.
- Providing Tutor and student consultation and support.
- Assisting relevant teaching staff and course administrators to support course assessment processes (assignments, tests, practical assessments and exams).
- Providing a client focused approach to current students ensuring that they are responded to in a professional and responsive manner and that all opportunities to enhance the student experience are given. This includes monitoring and following up on non-engaged students.
O pumanawa - About you
Key requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with current practicing certificate (Nursing).
- Completed Postgraduate Certificate and/or engaged in ongoing Postgraduate Study, Masters or Professional Doctorate/PhD in the respective subject area.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in NZ and hold a relevant work visa.
