Bachelor of Applied Computing Technologies - School of IT, WhitecliffeWe are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Programming Lecturer to join our team on a contract basis.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software developer or educator who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of computing professionals. You will deliver engaging, practical teaching that equips students with real-world software development skills through hands-on learning, coding laboratories, and project-based assessments.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programming courses.
- Facilitate hands-on coding labs and project-based learning activities.
- Support students in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software solutions.
- Provide structured feedback on student assignments and coding projects
- Hold consultation sessions to support student learning and success.
- Collaborate with the programme team to ensure teaching aligns with course learning outcomes and industry expectations.
About you:You will ideally have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong practical programming skills, particularly in Python and C#/.NET.
- Experience in software development, teaching, or technical training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for mentoring students and supporting their academic and professional growth.
