\n Role Overview\n

Lead the procurement portfolio responsible for more than NZ$400million of annual indirect spend across Fisher&Paykel’s global business. Report to the EVP Global Supply Chain, Procurement&Manufacturing and partner with senior leaders across Product Development, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales and the supplier network.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, unlocking value through commercial innovation.

  • Drive cost optimisation, strengthen supplier performance, and support decarbonisation objectives.
  • \n
  • Lead a high‑performing global procurement team, fostering accountability, capability development and continuous improvement.
  • \n
  • Ensure the procurement function remains a trusted strategic partner to the wider business.
  • \n
  • Develop business cases, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships across multiple indirect categories.
  • \n
Required Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Significant experience leading procurement within a large global organisation, ideally across multiple indirect categories.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing category strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical capability, with experience in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management and business case development.
  • \n
  • Proven leadership experience, able to coach, develop and inspire high‑performing teams.
  • \n
  • Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and influencing strategic decisions.
  • \n
  • A pragmatic, data‑driven approach combined with sound judgement, curiosity and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
