\n Lead Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis\n

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis to provide and support the organisation’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management activities. This is a pivotal role within our Finance Group, providing financial insights, analysis and reporting at organisation wide level to assist business leaders in making informed decisions and achieving strategic objectives.

  • Drive organisation-wide impact

  • Lead high-profile planning and improvement initiatives

  • Be a trusted business advisor
  • \n
  • Lead and support the forecasting and budgeting process across business units.
  • \n
  • Develop, maintain, and review operating and capital forecasts and budgets.
  • \n
  • Consolidate forecast and budget submissions (internal and external) and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • \n
  • Assist with long-term financial planning and strategic business planning activities.
  • \n
  • Prepare performance reports, forecast and budget presentations and supporting documentation for management.
  • \n
  • Deliver timely, future-focused advice and reporting that drives improved organisational performance.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and opportunities.
  • \n
  • Present complex information in a clear and meaningful way to a range of audiences.
  • \n
  • Influence decision-making and negotiate effective solutions to business challenges.
  • \n
  • Support and lead critical projects that deliver value and improve organisational outcomes.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and at least five years’ comparable experience.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of business drivers.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance management.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
  • \n
  • Experience interpreting complex data and turning it into valuable business insights.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
  • \n
  • Professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • \n
