Our Tauranga branch is actively seeking an experienced Delivery Driver - Class 2 to join our growing, supportive team that values hard work, collaboration, and a positive attitude. \nPosition snapshot:

- Location: Porutu Place, Tauriko, Tauranga \n
- Employment Type: Permanent part-time, \n
- Roster: 2-3 days/week (Tuesday, Saturday and occasional Monday), 05:00 am to 03:00 pm \n
About the role:
\nAs a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll deliver a wide range of food products across Tauranga, while providing outstanding customer service.
\nKey responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods \n
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported \n
- Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner \n
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation \n
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients \n
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery \n
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly \n
- Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs \n
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirements \n
- Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc. \n
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required \n
- Help warehouse team as and when needed \n
About You
\nWe’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running.
\nYou will have the following skills and attributes:
\n- \n
- a full Class 2 driver’s license, must be able to drive manual \n
- Have clear communication and customer service skills \n
- Knowledge of Tauranga and its surrounding areas is a plus \n
- Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills \n
- Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail \n
- Clean driving and criminal records \n
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients. \n
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgs. \n
- Possess good organisational and time management skills. \n
- Be a team player with a positive attitude \n
- Have reliable transport for commute \n
