Construction Site Supervisor
\nRealmax Linings Ltd is looking for two construction site supervisors to oversee and coordinate our works across its project sites. This is a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
\nThis role involves site-level supervision and coordination, including planning daily site activities, coordinating workers and project resources, monitoring work progress, checking work standards, maintaining site records and reporting to company management. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supporting project delivery, communicating with relevant parties, monitoring progress, and helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the expected standard.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Plan, coordinate and supervise interior construction and fit-out work across project sites under the direction of the company Director / management. \n
- Read and interpret relevant drawings, plans, specifications, schedules and work instructions to confirm site work requirements. \n
- Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, workers, materials, tools and equipment required for different stages of the project. \n
- Supervise site activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with project requirements, timelines, quality standards and workplace health and safety practices. \n
- Monitor work progress, site workflow, material usage, labour requirements and possible delays, and provide regular updates to the Director / management. \n
- Check ongoing and completed work to identify defects, safety risks, quality issues or other matters requiring attention, and arrange follow-up actions where required. \n
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and management to resolve site coordination issues and support timely project delivery. \n
- Maintain project site records, including progress updates, site notes, material records, site issues and other documentation required for management review. \n
- Support the Director / management in planning work stages, allocating site resources and following up on project progress. \n
Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, OR a relevant NZQF Level 5 qualification or higher. \n
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, plans, schedules and project requirements. \n
- General understanding of workplace coordination, quality standards, timelines and health and safety practices. \n
- Good communication skills and ability to work with team members, contractors, suppliers, clients and management. \n
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow up on tasks, monitor progress and report issues when required. \n
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team across different work sites. \n
- Good attention to detail and commitment to completing work to an acceptable standard. \n
