Position: Beauty Therapist

Pay Rate: $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience

Full time: minimum 30 hours per week

Duration: permanent

Location of work: Kerikeri, Bay of Islands

Queenie's Nails & Spa located in beautiful Kerikeri, Bay of Islands are looking for 2 multi-talented Beauty Therapist to work in our salon and are welcoming applications from suitable candidates in the area or willing to relocate

Responsibilities include:

\n
• Discussing client needs for manicure/ pedicure and advise clients with salon services
\n
• Perform all eyelash extension techniques, including Classic, Hybrid, Volume, Light Volume, Wispy, lash lifting (Lash Lift), lash tinting, and other lash enhancement services.
\n
• Perform facial and body wax, including eyebrows wax shape and tint, upper lip chin wax, brazilian and legs wax
\n
• Perform full head spa treatments, including cleansing, scalp massage, neck and shoulder massage, and relaxation techniques.
\n
• Perform full body deep tissue massage, including head, neck, shoulder, back, hands and legs.
\n
• Performing manicures and pedicure including decorative nail art, application of artificial nails, nail repair and other specialists hand & foot treatments as required.
\n
• Performing nails extensions, dipping powder nails, gel nails and Acrylic nails within an expectable time.
\n
• Customer service: taking appointments, phone calls, payment and maintaining client records
\n
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products when appropriate
\n
• Other beauty care tasks as you gradually gain your experience
\n
• Prepare and clean beauty salon, maintain salon's safety, hygiene
\n

What We're Looking For:

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
\n
• Must be able to work on Thursday, Friday and weekends & late nights
\n
• Follow client and manager instructions
\n
• At least 6 months previous Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist related experience
\n
• Bachelor's degree in any field will be considered or any qualification relevants
\n
• Good communication and organisational skills
\n
• Good personal character
\n
