About the Role\n

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join a respected national business servicing the South Canterbury region. This role offers the chance to manage an established customer base while identifying new opportunities to expand market share across your territory.

You'll spend your time building strong relationships with customers, understanding their businesses, and providing solutions that help them succeed. Supported by a knowledgeable internal team, you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while playing an important role in the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of trade and commercial customers
  • \n
  • Prospect for new business opportunities throughout the South Canterbury region
  • \n
  • Conduct regular customer visits and provide tailored product recommendations
  • \n
  • Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities
  • \n
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service
  • \n
  • Monitor market activity and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and customer activity
  • \n
About You\n

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Previous experience in territory sales, account management or business development
  • \n
  • A strong track record of growing sales and building lasting customer relationships
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently and effectively manage your own territory
  • \n
  • Experience within the building, construction, industrial, manufacturing or trade sectors will be highly regarded
  • \n
  • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for customer service
  • \n
