Whitecliffe is a leading independent tertiary institution with campuses in Auckland, Manukau, Wellington, and Christchurch, renowned for delivering innovative, industry-connected education. With the launch of a new programme in June/July 2026 and growing student numbers, we are seeking a PHD qualified individual to teach Research Methods to our MIT students.
Opportunity available:
Research Methods Lecturer (Contract)Approx. 20 hours/week | Start within 1-2 weeks
We are seeking a PhD-qualified contractor to teach across the Masters and Postgraduate programme with a primary focus on research methods. This role involves delivering instruction on research design, data collection, and analysis, and helping students build the methodological skills needed for their applied research projects.
- Design and deliver teaching on research methods (qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods)
- Support students in developing research questions, study designs, and analysis plans
- Provide structured feedback on student research proposals and written work
- Hold regular check-ins or consultations as needed
- Collaborate with the programme team to align delivery with course learning outcomes
