Job Description
Payroll Officer (0.5 FTE) Location: Richmond office, Nelson, NewZealand. Based as a member of the People and Capability team, this role is responsible for end‑to‑end fortnightly payroll processing and ensuring compliance with both Collective and Individual Employment Agreement terms. The role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple deliverables, and a passion for high‑quality payroll, reporting, and support. Responsibilities Process fortnightly payroll accurately and efficiently. Adhere to collective and individual employment agreements. Maintain payroll records and produce necessary reports. Collaborate with other teams to improve payroll processes and systems. Provide support and guidance on payroll matters. Qualifications Strong payroll processing experience, particularly with rostered operations and time & attendance systems. Recognised payroll certification and/or business administration experience is an advantage. Flexibility to adjust work hours around payroll processing requirements. Eligibility to work in NewZealand (NZ residency or valid NZ work permit). Experience with NZ payroll processing. Successful police and credit check. Full and current driver’s licence.
