Administrator – Taieri Court, Mosgiel Location: Taieri Court Care Home, Mosgiel, Otago Employment Type: Part‑time Permanent – 16 hours per week Schedule: Monday‑Thursday 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. About the Role As the face of Taieri Court, you will greet visitors in person and over the phone and provide professional and friendly service. You will undertake a wide range of administration activities, including placing orders, completing paperwork, invoicing, liaising with external parties, preparing for new staff or residents, managing residents’ money and other general admin duties. An integral part of the administrative team, you will directly support the Taieri Court manager and Registered Nurse with a variety of tasks such as staff rostering, booking training, event management and coordination, and managing staff competencies. Responsibilities Greet visitors and callers professionally and warmly. Complete paperwork, invoicing, and other administrative tasks. Place orders and liaise with external parties. Prepare for new staff and residents. Manage residents’ money and general admin duties. Support manager and RN with staff rostering, training booking, event coordination, and staff competency management. Qualifications Customer‑service focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. Organisational, time‑management, and planning skills. Professional, responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality and privacy. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic, initiative, and empathy for people from all walks of life. At least 2years of relevant experience in a reception/administration role. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
