Casual Catering Assistant – Auckland Operations, Auckland Working across our various in-house kitchens and cafés in Auckland this position promises variety and challenge! To be successful, you will need to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment whilst juggling multiple tasks at the same time. The beauty of this role is that no two days are the same. We have many kitchens and cafes throughout Auckland which range in cooking styles, service times and quantities. What you’ll be doing: Prepare and serve meals in cafés, including sandwiches and plated dishes Make coffee confidently (barista experience is an advantage, but not essential) Operate EFTPOS and POS machines with a friendly attitude Help keep the kitchen and café clean, including general kitchen duties and dishes Work as a reliable and supportive team member, staying calm under pressure Communicate effectively and maintain a positive, can-do approach Interact with customers in a friendly way, helping them enjoy their experience What we’re looking for: Friendly, warm, and approachable personality Ability to confidently make coffee and assist with basic café duties Team player who is reliable and adaptable Energetic and able to handle a busy café environment We require that you be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident, or valid work visa).
