Job Description
About The Opportunity TribeTech is proud to partner with the Child Cancer Foundation to find a Digital, IT & Systems Lead for their Auckland office. This is a part‑time role (0.5 FTE / about 20 hours per week), reporting to the Finance Manager, and it’s a great fit for someone who wants meaningful work with genuine flexibility. Child Cancer Foundation are a close‑knit organisation where people help each other out and get stuck in. This role sits right in the middle of that. You’ll provide oversight across their digital, IT, and systems initiatives to ensure they’re secure, reliable, and fit for purpose, but you’ll also be hands‑on in the work that matters. A big part of the job is supporting a key transformation programme. You’ll be involved from the start, helping the team scope and shape a new system, then guiding the team through vendor selection, implementation, rollout, training, and adoption. The goal is simple: make the transition smooth for staff, so the organisation can keep focusing on supporting children with cancer and their families across Aotearoa. What You’ll Bring You don’t need to be the loudest voice in the room, but you do need to be someone who builds trust quickly, brings order to complexity, and explains technology in a way that makes sense. Ideally You’ll Have Solid experience in IT, systems, and/or digital transformation roles The confidence to lead system implementations end‑to‑end (requirements, business case, vendor selection, rollout, training and adoption) A practical understanding of cyber security and risk, and the ability to lift awareness across the organisation Experience managing external IT vendors / managed service providers, and keeping delivery on track Comfort working with policy, governance and compliance (e.g., acceptable use, asset management, incident response, AI policy/procedures) Strong organisational skills; you can juggle priorities and keep momentum without creating noise A people‑first approach: you care about how change lands, and you genuinely like helping teams succeed A tertiary qualification in IT (or equivalent experience) is preferred. What’s On Offer Part‑time hours (about 20 hours per week) with work‑life flexibility The chance to be part of a transformation from the beginning, helping shape a new system and seeing it through to delivery A role with real purpose, where good systems and good change management genuinely make a difference A supportive, values‑led organisation with a strong focus on belief, trust and empathy Varied work across systems, vendors, cyber uplift, governance, and helping people through change #J-18808-Ljbffr
