Caregiver - Full time

Ryman Healthcare has multiple Caregiver positions available to join our friendly team at Essie Summers Retirement Village in Christchurch. Requirements A Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent and 3 years relevant experience OR A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include a weekend day and the wage will be $27.88 - $31.16 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner About Ryman At Ryman, we believe the measure of a full life is one that gets richer with age.
