Montessori Children's House, Wanaka, Otago Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.8 Early learning / kāhanga reo, Certificated teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well‑being / Mana Atua We are a community‑focused, not‑for‑profit early learning centre with strong connections to our whānau and wider community. Our curriculum thoughtfully integrates Te Whāriki and Montessori philosophies, supporting the holistic development of tamariki as confident, capable, and lifelong learners who can make meaningful contributions to their communities. Our dedicated team of experienced, qualified early childhood and Montessori‑trained kaiako work collaboratively to foster a nurturing environment where every tamaiti feels a strong sense of belonging and is encouraged to explore, discover, and develop at their own pace. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with tamariki. They will create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where tamariki feel safe, respected, and inspired to thrive. A commitment to Montessori principles, alongside the ability to embrace and contribute to our unique learning community, is essential. Qualifications Recognised ECE teaching qualification Current NZ Teaching Registration A Montessori (3–6) qualification would be advantageous but not essential, as long as the candidate is open to further training Collaborative, flexible, and committed to ongoing professional growth Must be a NZ Resident, Citizen, or hold a valid work permit Experience working with tamariki in an education/care setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
