Role Lead a high‑performing Finance Business Partnering team, providing strategic financial leadership that supports the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's priorities and long‑term objectives. The Senior Manager Financial Performance will lead the Finance Business Partners team to ensure that RBNZ achieves its financial imperatives and strategic objectives. This role provides robust financial insight, evaluates options and delivers credible forecasts and budgets that reflect a deep understanding of business drivers while ensuring financial discipline and transparency for the whole of the RBNZ. The role will also leverage innovation and technology to improve processes, deliver better outcomes and drive continuous improvement across financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities Lead the Finance Business Partners team to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision making. Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning to provide accurate insights that inform strategic decisions. Ensure financial discipline, transparency and accountability across the organisation. Influence outcomes and constructively challenge assumptions to build trusted relationships with stakeholders. Leverage technology and innovation to improve financial planning and analysis processes. About You Fully qualified Chartered Accountant with at least seven years of post‑qualification experience and strong technical accounting knowledge. Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning to deliver accurate insights informing strategic decisions. Strong track record of collaborating across the organisation, influencing outcomes and building trusted relationships. Demonstrated success in leading, coaching and developing high‑performing finance teams to achieve results. Excellent capability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and governance bodies.
