Sales Representative - Horticulture

We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and expertise to our clients, and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Horticultural Representative (THR) to join us, someone who brings strong knowledge of the horticulture sector and a genuine commitment to supporting growers. Fruitfed Supplies, a business unit within PGG Wrightson, is a leading provider of products and services to New Zealand’s horticultural sectors. Our mission is to help grow the country through our extensive knowledge and exceptional service. About the Role This position focuses on the vegetable market in the Franklin/North Waikato Region. As a THR, you'll play a crucial role in growers' businesses, identifying crop issues, providing technical and sales advice to clients, and spotting new opportunities along the way. Your ability to build strong relationships, combined with your passion for horticulture, will enable you to make a meaningful impact. You won’t be going it alone, you’ll be part of an experienced, supportive team. Backed by our local store and wider business, you’ll collaborate, share knowledge, and roll up your sleeves to deliver practical, real-world solutions that truly make a difference for our growers. Key Responsibilities Travel throughout Franklin through to North Waikato Build and maintain strong client relationships. Identify and pursue new client and business opportunities. Work alongside local store teams and the wider PGW business. Skills and Experience Extensive knowledge of the NZ horticulture sector. Experience offering technical-focused solutions. Onsite/field experience with fruit and vegetable crops. Proven expertise in developing new business and achieving sales targets. Strong customer solutions focus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reasonable fitness for some physical work. Full, clean NZ driver's license. Why Join Us?
