At Horizon College, learning is relevant, authentic, and engaging. Our learners participate in our special character and learn connected, enriched courses using NCEA as a vehicle for deeper learning. You’ll be part of helping students see connections between their learning and real‑life contexts, preparing them well for their future pathways—whether university, business, trades, or the workforce—through our bespoke curriculum. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, Christ‑centred learning experiences that connect to real‑world contexts Teach across your specialist subject area(s) using innovative, student‑centred approaches Support students in achieving NCEA qualifications whilst fostering deeper learning Build strong relationships with students, whānau, and the wider school community Contribute to our special Christian character through authentic integration of faith and learning Provide pastoral care and mentoring to support students' holistic development Collaborate with our College team to deliver integrated learning experiences About You We’re looking for someone who shares our heart for young people, with genuine passion for subject expertise and student growth. Our College teachers support students to intentionally shape their futures, take initiative, and solve real‑life problems.
