The Regulatory and Identity Services branch oversees regulatory systems and functions related to charities, gambling, anti‑money laundering and countering financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), digital safety, passports, civil registries, citizenship and identity management. The branch delivers identity products and services that enable customers to register their life events, access services from other public and private sector agencies and businesses, and travel seamlessly overseas. It supports data analysis, information sharing, forecasting, systems, service design, risk and assurance, intelligence and investigations, engagement and education, operational policy, product innovation, international product strategy and commercial excellence. The Role Senior Systems Analyst – Data & Technical Capabilities (DTC) Product Systems Team. The primary focus is to support the Grant Client Management System and contribute to future projects within the branch. Responsibilities and Qualifications SQL: Design, build and optimise complex SQL queries for reporting and downstream consumers. SQL: Review, tune and remediate indexing and query performance issues. Development: Maintain and evolve production web application logic across server‐side, templating and presentation layers within a constrained platform architecture. General: Demonstrate technical breadth across enterprise technologies enabling sound judgement and trusted advice across diverse technology domains. Translate requirements analysis into technical requirements. Provide user support and technical escalations for business‑critical systems. Assess impact, test and validate changes to live production systems. Engage with vendors and third‑party services, interpreting vendor documentation and release notes. Additional advantageous experience: T‑SQL (MSSQLServer) Ruby on Rails Liquid or other templating languages used in web platforms HTML, CSS and JavaScript (especially JQuery) Experience working with RESTful APIs Appointing salary range: $102,864 – $128,009 per annum. #J-18808-Ljbffr
