Delivery Coordinator (Full-time) Required Can you deliver everyday excellence to our wholesale customers? This could be the opportunity for you. This role is critical to our wholesale operations. Our customers trust us to deliver what they need, when they need it, and we need someone special that can make this happen. Starting your day at our Tannery location in Woolston, you then pack-up and hit the road to deliver our great products across the city. After your run, you return to the office to complete account management office-based work. Ongoing permanent full-time opportunity Monday to Thursday Shift start time 4.30am, finishing approximately 12.30pm Around half your time is on the road delivering product, with the rest spent on customer service and account management. You’ll need to know your way around Christchurch, be confident both behind the wheel and behind the computer screen. Tasks & Responsibilities Packing product safely, effectively, correctly Driving responsibly to delivery customers Working efficiently to meet customer expectations Clean down of delivery and packing areas Proactive account management and troubleshooting Supporting and mentoring wider wholesale team Being a trusted partner for our wholesale customers This role supports the wider team, spotting areas we can enhance activities or improve processes will be critical to your success here. Qualifications & Experience Professional communicator (both face-to-face and written) Skilled at coaching, guiding and supporting others to succeed Detail oriented, observant and solutions focused thinker Reliability and timeliness, ability to deliver what and when customers expect Ability to work well under time pressure to meet strict deadlines Physical ability – involves heavy and awkward lifting Full and clean drivers licence is essential for this position Any experience with building new customer relationships, including outbound sales activity, would be highly beneficial. We are looking for someone who can help us to grow our wholesale business, whilst staying true to our core company values. This role would be perfect for someone that likes variety in a busy work day. You need to be equally passionate about seeing our customers during delivery opportunities and take proactive responsibility for their ongoing account management when in the office.
