Perioperative Service, Whangarei Hospital Full‑time opportunities, part‑time applications will be considered. Flexible working arrangements are available. This role is for anaesthetic technicians graduating in 2026 or experienced professionals. About the Role The purpose of this position is to provide safe operational anaesthetic and ancillary equipment to anaesthetists in operating theatre. In this role you will provide direct clinical assistance to anaesthetists and intensivists, maintaining a high standard of patient care. You will be part of an integrated operating theatre team with a commitment to ensuring efficient functioning of the operating theatre. As a newly qualified member of staff, full supervision and support will help you settle into your new role. About the Team / Location If you choose Whangarei as your base location, you will also have the option of working in Kaitaia at times, allowing you to experience the Far North. You will be part of an integrated operating theatre team that values efficient functioning of the theatres. About You You will have strong attention to detail, an ability to follow clear guidelines and set procedures, and a commitment to quality care. You will be keen to learn and develop new skills.
