Mō te tūnga | About the role No two days are the same at Whakapapa. We’re looking for a qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our maintenance team and help keep critical infrastructure and mountain operations running safely and reliably year-round. This is not your standard electrical role. One day you could be fault‑finding and repairing infrastructure, the next you could be assisting with snowmaking installations in alpine terrain. Key Responsibilities Carrying out electrical maintenance in accordance with all relevant legislation and standards Installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment Testing and tagging of equipment Supporting maintenance projects across the wider operation Coordinate and maintain clear communications with contractors and suppliers for timely and cost-effective service delivery. Liaising with suppliers and on‑site contractors Completing operational checks and maintaining high safety and operational standards Assist the Maintenance Manager with the planning and scheduling of projects, including preparation of budgets, supplier engagement and purchasing. While electrical work will be your primary focus, we value team players who are willing to support wider maintenance activities when required.
