ZURU CREATIVE ZURU Social & Content Creative is a role that blends strategy, storytelling, technology, craft and creativity to produce culture‑defining content for global brands. This position is based in Auckland, New Zealand. THE ROLE What You Are - A Social & Content Powerhouse — you blend strategy and execution, turning briefs into successful campaigns across global platforms. You optimise, test, and keep the creative engine running. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead content calendars for paid and organic across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta, owning the plan from brief to post. Ideate campaign concepts for organic and paid across a range of brands and products that drive real business results. Brief creative production (video, animation, design) with clarity and rigor to deliver great work on time. Oversee localisation across markets, ensuring global campaigns land with cultural relevance. Integrate generative AI tools into planning, ideation, and content workflows. LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION Mentor junior team members, elevating their thinking and coaching their growth. Develop and manage a creator & influencer pipeline, ensuring content performs across every channel. Bridge Marketing, Design, Brand Engagement, Digital and local markets, keeping everyone aligned. Drive optimisation through performance data testing, competitive research and platform trend analysis. Oversee and run external productions with various partners from pre‑production to post. WHAT YOU BRING SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proven experience leading social and content strategy for global consumer brands. Deep platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube. Creative concepting ability to develop briefs into fully‑formed campaigns. Confidence using generative AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency. MINDSET & ENERGY Bias for action – ship great work faster than perfect. Mentoring instinct – genuinely love helping others improve.
