Guided by our values of Caring, Trust, Excellence and Passion, we work alongside clients to help them understand and manage workplace health risks. We are looking for a science graduate or experienced Occupational Hygienist to join our Christchurch-based team. This is a hands‑on consulting role for someone who enjoys practical problem solving, technical work and supporting clients with clear, useful advice on workplace exposure risks and controls. The role will involve a varied mix of occupational hygiene work, including dust, fume and chemical exposure monitoring, respirator fit testing, noise surveys and workplace health risk assessments. Occupational hygiene experience or qualifications would be highly valued, although training and support will be provided where required. There is also likely to be some asbestos-related work, including sample collection, air monitoring, surveying and clearance certification. Asbestos skills or qualifications, including LAA status or BOHS IP402, IP404 or IP405, would be beneficial but are not essential. To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in one of the following areas: Occupational hygiene Health and safety Science, such as chemistry or a related discipline This position is based in Christchurch and will include national travel to deliver services to clients across New Zealand.
