As an Ecommerce Specialist you'll be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing high-quality content for our website, ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and aligned with our brand voice. Your work will directly impact how customers discover and interact with our products, driving sales and enhancing the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and proofread product descriptions, and website copy for banners and assets. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing content. Ensure that we are advertising the right offers, at the right time, to the right customers. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improving content quality and performance. Merchandise assigned categories and search terms to optimise sales Work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams. Use analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven improvements. About You We're looking for someone with: Proven experience in content editing, asset loading, ecommerce merchandising, or a similar role in ecommerce or digital marketing. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Understanding of SEO and on-site search best practices, with the ability to optimize content and product visibility to improve customer engagement and conversion. Experience or an interest in ecommerce search optimization (SEM), including search merchandising, search term management, product discoverability, and improving the customer shopping journey. Ability to analyse search trends, customer behaviour, and website performance data to identify opportunities to improve search results, content effectiveness, and conversion. Experience using analytics and reporting tools to monitor content performance and make data-driven recommendations. Familiarity with basic HTML and digital design principles (a plus but not essential). Meticulous attention to detail. Outstanding people skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn, test, and adapt using customer and performance insights.
