Plasterer Assistants

We are looking for 1full-time permanent (working at least 30 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) Plasterer Assistant to grow with our team. Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based company and become a part of a great team. Plasterer Assistants will be assisting Plasterers with their work. You should ideally have a site safety mind, be physically fit, punctual, and a great team player. No prior work experience or relevant qualification is required but could be an advantage. The location of work is within Auckland Region. Duties include: Clean the construction sites for the plastering work for structures and buildings Help plasterers with their work whenever necessary Assist in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts Assist in cutting, positioning, and fixing various types of plasterboard, ceiling systems, tiles and composite wall linings to walls, etc Assist in applying coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes and other hand/power tools Assist in applying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials Load or unload or move materials, tools and equipment & heavy lifting around the construction sites Follow instructions from supervisors Use equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner Clean work area, maintaining work tools and machines daily after the work is done Benefits we offer: Opportunity to work on different sites and learn new skills A knowledgeable, high-achieving, experienced and fun team An international and diverse work atmosphere A competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $28.00 depending on your personal abilities Priority will be given to NZ residence/citizens.
