Right now, we’re on the lookout for a motivated Driver Operator ( Sweeper ) to join our Wellington team – whether you’re experienced or ready to take the next step. In this role, you’ll be part of a hardworking crew delivering a variety of construction, renewal, and maintenance projects across the region. You’ll operate a range of machinery including sweepers, rollers, graders, and trucks, while also pitching in with hands‑on work when needed to keep things moving. You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you: Class 4 Full NZ Drivers License essential ( WTR highly regarded ) Road sweeping experience highly regarded but not essential Physically fit and willing to get stuck into hands‑on tasks Good understanding of road safety, including pre‑starts and inspections Reliable, hardworking, and a team player Flexible with hours when the job demands it We are committed to a safe working environment for everyone – all successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre‑employment drug test, medical and a Ministry of Justice check prior to starting employment.
