Dicker Data in Auckland is seeking a Vendor Marketing Specialist for a 12-month contract. This role is your chance to work with top technology vendors, driving engagement & ensuring the timely execution of marketing strategies. With your marketing acumen, you'll help shape quarterly plans, manage funding claims, & maintain a dynamic online presence. The Role Assist in crafting quarterly marketing plans for your vendor portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment & comprehensive coverage of key products. Organise & manage claims for all MDF activities, capturing all available funding to support marketing initiatives & vendor engagement. Liaise weekly with Product Managers & Business Unit Managers to ensure key products & focus areas are covered with marketing vehicles. Collaborate with the Dicker Data Marketing team to ensure the timely execution of all marketing activities, meeting strategic objectives. Regularly update the vendor Marketing section on the Dicker Data website with the latest promotions, ensuring current & accurate information. Maintain dedicated microsites with the latest promotions & content, ensuring a consistent & engaging vendor presence online. Drive social media engagement for vendors, collaborating with internal & external stakeholders to enhance brand visibility. Write & submit asset design requests for all marketing assets, ensuring alignment with vendor & company branding standards. What You’ll Bring 2+ years of marketing experience in IT or retail sectors preferred Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required Advanced communication skills across written, verbal & presentation High level of self-motivation, resourcefulness & proactive orientation Baseline knowledge of social media platforms like LinkedIn & Twitter Strong writing skills for developing communications & media releases Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications Agile, solutions-focused mindset with effective time management Strong teamwork, collaboration skills & attention to detail Dicker Data is an ASX-listed (ASX: DDR) company, with a positive family‑centric culture and a long‑standing record of gender equality and diversity.
