C3 is a 24‑hour business that requires drivers to be able to cover all shifts – night and day. We are looking for permanent and casual drivers who like a bit of variety in the cargo they haul on a daily basis. If you are a skilled truck driver with a class5 licence and mean to enjoy short‑haul work around the port, we would like to hear from you. Our permanent roles offer a minimum hour's guarantee with rates from $33.95 an hour for fully competent class5 drivers with a minimum of 12 months experience. Drivers must be flexible and available for shifts across our 24/7 port operations. Shifts can be between 8–12 hours in duration. You will be expected to operate a variety of different truck makes on any given day. Experience using a road ranger transmission is preferred and shifts will involve carting varied cargoes including containers and bulk products on a short haul. If an applicant has administrative and dispatching experience or a desire to learn these skills, there is the potential, for the right applicant to provide backup for our dispatcher.
