Job Description

Office Manager – Fuwa Transport & Logistics Full‑time, on‑site position located in Auckland, New Zealand. Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours, and hourly rate $30.00‑$38.00 (based on experience). Job Description Coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day office operations, ensuring continuous improvement of office services, maintaining office service standards, and allocating resources to support freight scheduling, fleet administration, warehouse documentation, customer service, and other business operations. Responsibilities Supervise and support administrative staff, assigning duties, monitoring workflow and performance, and providing training, guidance and performance feedback. Maintain accurate company records, operational reports, office accounts and compliance documentation, ensuring confidentiality and timeliness. Liaise with transport coordinators, warehouse staff, drivers, customers, accountants, suppliers, IT service providers and other external professionals to coordinate office activities and resolve operational issues. Monitor office systems and procedures, identify workflow improvement opportunities, and implement effective office management practices. Coordinate procurement, allocation and maintenance of office equipment, facilities and supplies to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements, New Zealand legislation, company policies, workplace procedures and operational standards. Coordinate personnel administration activities including recruitment support, onboarding, staff induction, payroll administration, leave records, performance management, training coordination and day‑to‑day staff supervision. Prepare operational reports, internal correspondence, business documentation and management reports to support planning, decision‑making and continuous business improvement. Assist management in reviewing office budgets, monitoring administrative expenditure and recommending cost‑effective office management solutions. Qualifications At least a relevant Diploma qualification, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience. Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment. High level of accuracy in documentation and record keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
