Role Senior Gambling Regulator – fixed‑term until June2027. Frontline specialist in the gambling compliance space, responsible for maintaining integrity of the Class4 gambling system with a focus on harm minimisation and sector accountability. Responsibilities Deliver mature, risk‑based regulatory responses across licensing and Class4 gambling. Make robust, defensible decisions; assess licence applications; investigate complaints. Collaborate with senior regulatory accountants and regulators to support effective joint compliance activity. Lead through influence, sharing technical expertise, strengthening team capability through guidance and knowledge sharing. Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with regulated parties and sector stakeholders. Qualifications Experience in compliance, enforcement, investigation, risk management or similar roles, ideally within a regulatory environment. Audit, accounting or financial investigation experience preferable. Ability to interpret legislation and apply complex technical information in an operational context. Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven experience working in a risk‑based regulatory setting with confident and consistent decision‑making. High integrity and sound judgement; ability to mentor and support others while working collaboratively in a changing environment.
