Permanent, Part‑Time positions available at Waikato Hospital About the Role The Ultrasound service at Waikato Hospital operates eight high‑end machines and provides general ultrasound imaging to inpatient, outpatient, and obstetric services within a tertiary hospital. You will provide comprehensive imaging in trauma, inpatient, and outpatient settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Acquire and assess information during ultrasound studies using independent judgment. Coordinate bookings and workload scheduling. Ensure patient safety while in the sonographer’s care. Assist in maintaining equipment, work area, and supplies. Qualifications Registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board and a valid practising certificate within the general scope of practice. DMU or equivalent postgraduate recognised sonography qualification. Excellent communication skills. Strong professional judgement.
